Veterinarian
Rebecca Kestle is a Georgia Native. She decided in the 7th grade that she wanted to become a veterinarian. Rebecca was always a horse person until she was introduced to dog showing and breeding while attending The University of Georgia. With a special interest in Akitas, Dr. Kestle became a canine semen freezing center in 1992. With years of canine reproduction and vet care under her belt, Dr. Kestle sold her practice in 2024, only to discover that she couldn’t live without it. Dr. Kestle relocated to Union Hill Animal Hospital in July of 2025 so that she would be closer to home. Rebecca currently lives on a farm with her chickens, horses (Dan, Indigo, Bo and Ribeye) a cat (Godiva), an akita (Rory) and a new German Shepherd puppy (Timber).
