Medical Thermal Imaging. Medical Thermal Imaging, also known as, Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (D.I.T.T), or Thermography, is a non-invasive clinical imaging technique for detecting and monitoring several diseases and physical injuries by showing any thermal abnormalities present in the body. Since animals don’t always tell us what is hurting, our Digatherm helps us pinpoint the exact problem. We find it to be a great scanning tool as part of a yearly exam to identify problems that were unknown to the pet owner.
